Wake Up & Workout.
Now there will be a few people who will disagree with me when I say training in the morning is better.
But why do I think it's better?
Generally, working out in the morning is better because it’s easier to commit to and get done before the day’s responsibilities get in the way. Also in the evening, many people feel tired and it can be difficult to find motivation or time to exercise. Plus working out at night can also increase energy, making it hard to fall asleep.
Other reasons why:
👉You won't have as many distractions - Morning workouts typically mean you’re less prone to distractions. When you first wake up, you haven’t started tackling the day’s to-do list. You’re also less likely to get phone calls, text messages, and emails. With fewer distractions, you’re more likely to follow through with your workout.
👉Kicks your day - Personally, there is no better way to kick start your day by getting up and doing an activity, anything from a walk, run or gym workout, start your day on the right note.
👉It leaves times for other priorities - Doing your workout in the morning means you can focus on your other priorities for the day knowing that your workout is done.
👉You will be less likely to skip your workout - getting your workout out the way in the morning means it doesn't matter if you suddenly get busy at work or if plans change your workout is already done. Plus, you could find that after a busy day you don't have the energy or motivation to go train in the evening.
👉Your metabolic rate will receive a quick boost - It's like have a car that is cold and needs time to warm up, well our body is the same, if you wake up and exercise in the morning you have got your blood flowing and your body moving.....meaning your body is ready to tackle the day.
👉Your mood for the day will improve - We all know that exercise will boost your endorphins which means you can start your day in a happier more positive mood.
👉Kick start your mindset - Just as we need to warm up our bodies our mind also needs a kickstart, getting up and working out allows your mind to wake up, meaning you will be more prepared and focused for the rest of the day.
Of course, it's down to personal choice, I don't force my clients to train in the morning but I will tell them about the reasons and experience I found with my own and my client's training over the years.
Overall, If you’re looking to start a fitness routine, consider morning workouts. Early exercise will help you start the day with more energy, focus, and optimism.
Plus, after a morning workout, you’re more likely to eat healthily and say active throughout the day.
Despite these benefits, there isn’t a “right” time to exercise. The best time is one that you can stick with long-term......So the choice is yours👍
