Training Strategies!
So what are training strategies? and will they really improve my workouts?
Below you will find some examples of different variations of training strategies and the best way to perform them:
▶SUPERSET: A superset is when two or more exercises hitting different muscle groups are performed in a row without rest between them.
▶DROP SET: At the end of your set, drop the weight by 15-20% and perform reps to failure.
▶REST PAUSE: Rest-pause training breaks down one set into several mini-sets, with a short rest between each. Like this; After a set, rest 15 seconds, go again to failure, rest another 15 seconds and repeat (All with the same weight).
▶ALTERNATE SETS: Performing two different exercises for muscle groups which don't overlap in succession, with minimal rest in between.
☞ALL ARE GREAT WAYS TO DO MORE WORK IN LESS TIME🏋.
Do you already use supersets, drop sets, rest-pause, alternate sets in your training?
If you do, which one is your favourite and on what muscle group?
If you don't, then you really need to give them a try, you don't need to be some sort of mad person to do them, take your time and enjoy.
