Wedding Day to Muscle & Mind Transformation!

Agnieszka journey is far from over and now it’s time to grow physically and mentally!

Agnieszka first came to me because she had a wedding dress to get into and time was not on our side but we made no excuses and got the job done and since then her physical and mental transformation has gone from strength to strength.

Hear below about her journey and what her thoughts are on it.

Full name: Agnieszka Caroline Engler-Visser                     Age: 33

What was the main reason for joining V2? My main reason for joining was I was a month from getting married and I split my wedding dress! Yes, I ate too much at Christmas and didn't think...I needed to get in shape and in that dress.

What was your starting weight? 60kg

What would you say was the biggest habit change you had to make? I had to change the amount of sugar, coffee and alcohol I was taking, the fact I needed to put food in my body was a new thing.

What was the best part of your fitness journey? My fitness journey has continued! I got married and was at 57kg in my dress looking good, went on honeymoon and then came back to lockdown. I wanted to look strong and not thin, I also wanted a strong body to help me mentally have a stronger mindset....I have now started and continue to change my bodies composition.

I'm feeling more confident and it's now when people look at me I feel less worried that there is something wrong and now those people see a woman who trains. Also, the best bit is Bruno is an amazing person who has helped me so much, not one of these coaches who isn't really about your work-life balance.

What was the biggest thing you learned about yourself during your transformation? I've learned I'm human and it's ok not to do things at 100miles an hour, it's ok to say no and have my time to decompress in the gym or at home doing workouts.

What would you say you struggled the most with? I still struggle with cake and alcohol it's still in me 😂

Best workout/exercise? My best exercise or workout has got to be the beastly Saturdays where I can pick up, push and pull weights till I'm exhausted and then go home and Nap!

How has your mindset changed since you started? My mindset went from a very work is my life to understanding there must be a balance in everything, you can't control everything so worry only about what I can control. If people don't like that, you don't have to worry about that either as that their problem.

What words of advice would you give someone who is just starting out their fitness journey? If you are just starting and like me want to do one week and next week I look in the mirror and expect the results, just slow down and keep with it. Enjoy the "me" time instead of rushing to the next thing...keep focused on your goal and work towards that, strong and healthy body will help with a strong healthy mind and that is more valuable than any job to do.

What’s next? Next on my agenda is to continue my journey of getting strong...I don't want to be the hulk but I do want to look good and meaty.
