The importance of making time to relax.

It's amazing how hard we can push ourselves to eat right, train well and make sure we get shit done, we hear it everywhere, you got to work hard, be the hardest working person in the room etc but......not enough people are saying about the importance of making time to relax your mind and body.

Why is it so important?

When we relax, the flow of blood increases around our body giving us more energy. It helps us to have a calmer and clearer mind which aids positive thinking, concentration, memory and decision making.

Relaxation slows our heart rate, reduces our blood pressure and relieves tension.

So give yourself a timeout from everything not just working out but from all of the everyday stresses of life.

If you are one of these people that are running around and juggling everything life throws at you then you need to make sure you stop and take a well-deserved timeout.

Life doesn't have to be at 100 miles an hour, if you do it right you can achieve everything you want and still have some nice relaxing moments as well.

Do yourself a favour and look after yourself by pulling the brakes of life and giving yourself that rest time your body and mind needs.
