Not seeing progress in your workouts?
This is a very common thing where some people say that they are hitting the gym, doing workouts at home but not seeing any progress, over the years I have found this is broken down to a few factors, once these factors are corrected the progress comes and keeps coming.
So what are these factors?
Well the first one for me is......
1) Be consistent:
➡There is no point at all to workout 4 days this week if you can't work out for another 3 weeks. You are better off cutting down your workouts to a time you can do and aim to workout 2 to 3 times a week.
2) Track your progress:
➡If you don't track your progress this will make it very hard to know if you are progressing or not, a simple note pad or app to track it can help your workouts and progress dramatically.
3) Have a plan:
➡Now, this may sound silly but if you walk into the gym with no plan of what you are going to do how are you possibly going to improve from last week, build a plan that will last around 4 to 5 weeks and then look to change it up.
4) Your diet is letting you down:
➡You workout but you still don't see any progress because you are letting yourself down by not controlling yourself when it comes to getting a healthier diet or habits. It is going to be impossible to lose or gain weight if your calories are not right.
5) You are just not pushing yourself enough:
➡This is a big one, you must WANT to achieve those goals, which means find a playlist, get into the zone and smash those workouts as you own them.
So, get yourself a game plan, action it and go smash those goals.
